Look what happened overnight . . .
Yesterday, there wasn't a speck of snow on the ground -- and look what happened overnight! The kids' school was cancelled. Unfortunately, I still had to work (they stayed with Steve in a.m. and went to friends' house in afternoon). Isn't it beautiful?

I have a kind neighbor that lives down the street. He has a cat and goes to all the houses near the end of the work-day and plows out enough of the driveways that aren't already shoveled to get in the garage. Isn't that sweet???

And, in keeping with our snow day tradition, Morgan and I made chocolate chip cookies tonight.
