Happy Birthday Carrie!!!
Happy birthday to Carrie! It was her birthday Saturday. She's the one that got me hooked on blogging -- check out her blog! She's much more creative than I.

Silly Homeowners
Homeowners
Aren't we silly? We were having fun the night my friend Lisa took this picture!
Tomorrow is the first day of fall and it's actually HOT out -- 88 degrees. The humidity is only 46%, but it's uncomfortable outside. The county next to us is having severe weather -- we're next. Better go hide in the basement! Yeah, the one that flooded last week. :-)
P.S. Still not smoking!
Fire Muster
Morgan at Fire Muster
Finally getting around to posting a picture of Morgan at the Fire Muster parade. She walked with the Girl Scouts. The parade was over an hour and a half long! She had a good time and was near the front so she was able to grab candy after she was done! Of course, a big concern for an 8 year old! It was hot that day, but she was a trooper!

Weekend Update
I have been ignoring my blog. After the water heater cracked last week and got my basement all wet, I spent the rest of the week getting ready for my housewarming party. It was fun. I think everyone had a good time. I made too much food and bought too much beer. Oh, well. It was a beautiful night for a bonfire. I forgot to take pictures. Ooops!
Saturday night Rose, Bob & I went out to dinner at Macaroni Grill. Food was good and the company was fantastic!
Sunday I watched the Vikings game -- they stunk. Cleaned up a bit and went out to dinner with a friend . . . hmmmmmmm . . .
The kids went up to Lake Namakagon with Steve & Sandy this weekend. They had a good time swimming and golfing.
It's fundraising time for school and the Boy Scouts. Nathan has wreaths and garlands for sale again this year and both kids have wrapping paper. You can check out the wrapping paper at www.innisbrook.com if you want to browse. Our school is #101106. I don't want to bug people. They have some really cute stuff this year, though.
Oh, and I've quit smoking. It's been three days. I'm trying to picture myself as a non-smoker, which is what I've been for most of my life anyway. Nasty habit that I picked up working at the bar and it's about darn time I quit! I'm a nurse for crying out loud, I should know better!

Housewarming
The big housewarming is tomorrow. My week has stunk. Have a virus and feeling crappy. I'm not ready for this. I hope everyone closes their eyes when they come over -- 'course that kind of defeats the whole purpose, doesn't it? Oh, well. Wish me luck! :-) I'll update you all this weekend with pictures from the Fire Muster, Housewarming, etc.

Argh!
Well, after getting a good night's sleep, I awakened to an inch of water in my basement Tuesday morning. The liner in my water heater cracked. Then, as I was making dinner for the kids, my microwave shorted out.

Morning!
Good morning everyone! It's a great day -- mid-September and it's supposed to be 91 in Minnesota! I've already had a couple cups of coffee, read the Sunday paper and now I'm ready to get things done!
Morgan & I have decided to take piano lessons. I took them for 8 years when I was younger and would like a refresher course. Now that I have the piano moved over from Steve's house that I used as young girl, I'm totally motivated to start those lessons!
Morgan is marching in the Burnsville Fire Muster parade today with her Girl Scout friends. I'll try to post a picture later. Nathan is going to stay home and watch the Vikings first regular season game! GO VIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Anniversary!!!
Happy 55th anniversary mom & dad!
The kids are finally back to school. The first week went pretty well for them, but it's been an adjustment getting them to bed earlier!
I went to a going away party tonight for a friend that's leaving the clinic and then went to the Burnsville Fire Muster with my friends Angela & Thomas. We watched the fireworks and then listened to the band play. Not much else is new here except getting ready for my open house next Friday.
Here's another picture from the State Fair.
